Through the establishment of this Hall of Fame, we will strive to recognize the contributions of those who have had a significant impact in the ongoing development and advancement of rock and roll album cover-related design, illustration and photography.

Our goal is to present interesting and great examples of album cover art and photography – and in-depth info on the people that create it – and hope that this sparks a conversation or two among album cover art fans like you.

Scholars and fans of “the art of the album cover” have garnered their resources to establish the Album Cover Art Hall of Fame Nominating Committee (a voting body consisting of experts in the fields of packaging design, illustration, photography and music product marketing) whose goal is to recognize the contributions of those who have had a significant impact in the ongoing development and advancement of Rock, Pop, R&B and Hip-Hop album cover-related design, illustration and photography by inducting them into this Hall of Fame.
